TIFFArrange is a simple PC utility designed specifically for use in a Direct Engraving environment. It is an option to install as part of a Preparation Station.

TIFFArrange allows the creation of large TIFF files by “arranging” and combining
multiple smaller images. TIFFArrange’s output image is then used by FlexoDirect
to control the engraving of the multiple images.

Many of the functions of TIFFArrange can be performed using Photoshop, or
other image generation software. However, TIFFArrange:

• Does not have a pixel limit (this can be a problem using other software, high resolution files and a large engraving cylinder).

• Can be operated by personnel with only basic PC skills, for example in a production environment.

• Is quicker and less prone to error as image files are arranged automatically with an option to reposition visually by simple use of
arrow keys.

TIFFArrange is essential to allow multiple plates or large plates with multiple images to be setup at the engraving stage without the need for access to studio facilities.

TIFFArrange outputs packbits compressed files. This is an efficient lossfree compression method and can be handled directly by Adflex Direct.
